Each Group Bundle comes with at least one year's worth of Software Assurance (you receive the latest updates and versions). In addition, Kodak support provides you with Start-up assistance. Please click here for more information on Startup Assistance
Capture Pro Software licenses are available in Perpetual, Subscription and Network Editions. A perpetual license is only good for that PC and that operating system. You must maintain annual support of that license in order to be able to move the license or upgrade the license on a new operating system. A software subscription license will no longer activate if the license expires. A network client license is the same as a subscription license. A 5 year perpetual license is the best value. Capture Pro Software is capable of running other brand's scanners. Here's the list in PDF of all supported scanners and their related Group Designation.
Each Group (A,B,C and so on) will ONLY run certain scanner models. Note a higher Group letter will run all the models below that Group. (For example, Group B software will also run Group A scanners and so on.)
