The 60-inch imagePROGRAF PRO-6600 printer is designed to exceed expectations for image quality and color consistency in a large format printer. The use of a 1.28-inch wide 12-channel integrated compact print head, LUCIA PRO II ink set plus Chroma Optimizer, a high-precision mechanical platform and the L-COA PRO high-speed image processing engine achieves a balance between exceptional print quality and speed. The imagePROGRAF PRO-6600 has been designed to include intelligent technology for advanced media handling, increased security features, borderless printing and improved operational design.

As compared to the Canon TM Series, the Pro Series use 11 different color ink cartridges to achieve up to 2400x1200 dpi printing. That's roughly 32 MILLION ink droplets per second, placed on the paper.


New LUCIA PRO II Ink

Designed to produce vivid color prints with more accurate color reproduction and improved black density color output than predecessor models.

Color Calibration

This helps ensure your output is color consistent over time and across multiple imagePROGRAF PRO Series devices. The built-in Color Calibration function uses a multi-sensor to read color density and automatically calibrate the printer, so that the last print can look as stunning as the first.

Dual Black Inks

On other brands of printers, switching from Matte Black to Photo Black consumes a significant amount of ink and time. The PRO Series is designed to work seamlessly when changing paper types. Matte Black and Photo Black inks have their own dedicated nozzles, so no switching is necessary. You can print on fine art paper then glossy paper with no worries, no changes, and no waste.

Multi-Unit Sensors

All PRO Series devices include a built-in multi-sensor to help ensure color consistency, not only from one print to the next, but also from one PRO Series device to another. With the included Device Management Console Software, calibrate and monitor up to 50 PRO Series devices with ease on both Canon and non-Canon media, helping to ensure highly consistent color.

New LUCIA PRO II INKS

The LUCIA PRO II 11-Color plus Chroma Optimizer ink system can satisfy the demands of the most critical photographer or graphic artist. A dense droplet placement provides a broad color gamut and the Chroma Optimizer provides improved gloss uniformity for superb color and anti-bronzing. Incredibly accurate color reproduction, outstanding image clarity, and enhanced detail in darker areas help distinguish each print. On fine art papers, deep black density renders even the finest shadow detail for a print that becomes a work of art.

Multifunction Roll System

The Multifunction Roll System—standard with the PRO-6600 and optional for the PRO-2600/PRO-4600 printers—can be used in two different ways. First, you can load a second roll of a different media type and size at the same time, allowing automatic switching from matte to gloss paper without interrupting your workflow. Or second, you can configure the printer as a bi-directional Take-up unit.

L-COA PRO

This high-precision control engine performs the high-speed processing of massive amounts of image data, generates the printing data, and controls the optimal ink layout for the purpose of achieving high-resolution prints.

Ease of Use Body Design

The unibody structure was engineered to provide a strong platform for stable print head scanning, resulting in precise ink droplet placement. Now it's easier to achieve the perfect combination of speed and high-quality printing.

High Capacity Ink Tanks

Available in 160 ml, 330 ml, and 700 ml ink tanks, you’re now given the flexibility to purchase ink based on your printing needs. You can purchase 700 ml Photo Black ink tanks for all those monochrome images and 160 ml Magenta ink tanks for the occasional sunset image.

Sub Ink Tank System

The Sub-Ink Tank System works to remove all the ink in the tank before having to replace it, helping to eliminate any wasted ink. And, you can easily see ink tanks and loaded media through the new translucent covers. The empty tanks can also be replaced on the fly, without stopping the printer.

500 GB Hard Drive

A built-in 500GB hard drive within the printer can increase productivity by relieving workload from the host computer, while providing a large capacity for print job data storage and retrieval.

Print from USB Drive

JPEG and PDF files can be directly printed from the TX-Series. Simply load your files onto your USB drive, step right up to the printer and plug your USB drive into the port.

LCD Control Panel

The new 4.3 inch operational panel utilizes smartphone technology for easy operation. The top three most-used commands: Load, Feed, and Cut now have their own buttons for ease of use.

The user interface screen displays the ink levels,media indicator levels, and other setting prompts all on the home screen

Wi-Fi Compatible

Printing jobs quickly is critical on the work site and in the office. The Wi-Fi connectivity can transfer technical drawing files and help speed up your workflow, perfect for high volume printing.
