Due to the Network nature of this model, many people purchase this model and then want to return it when they cannot configure the scanner to work with their network. You should have a trained IT person on staff available to configure this model. It is not hard to configure if you have network experience. Epson Technical Support cannot help you configure this scanner to work with your network. Only your IT person knows your network settings. Please download the Admin Manual (above) to be sure you can configure this with your network.

The intuitive 4.3-inch color LCD touchscreen allows you to access multiple jobs and email or scan to a USB drive, your network3 or cloud storage services4,5 without the need for a computer. Gain full control of your documents with individual user authentication6 via the touchscreen or an optional card reader, including customizable scan settings and access to personal usage records.

The DS-790WN enables efficient document management and integration to optimize your business — it includes both TWAIN and ISIS® drivers for seamless integration with most existing enterprise software. With included OCR software, you can generate searchable PDF files as well as editable Office documents3. Built-in LAN and Wi-Fi® network connectivity allows for easy scanning, and you can scan with your mobile device using the Epson Smart Panel® app7 on iOS® or Android™.   1. Based on letter-sized scans at 300 dpi in Black-and-White, Grayscale or Color Mode, using the USB interface.
  2. Peak daily duty cycle is the highest recommended number of scanned sheets per day. For best results, do not exceed the peak daily duty cycle. Calculations based on a scanning speed of 45 ppm and an assumed daily use time. Scan speed varies depending on network conditions.
  3. With Epson Document Capture and Epson Scan software installed on the connected Windows PC or Mac.
  4. Wirelessly scan to smartphones or tablets (Android/iOS devices) via the Epson Smart Panel app; wirelessly scan to the cloud, PCs or Macs with Epson Document Capture software installed on the connected Windows PC or Mac. Internet connection is required.
