The BookTEK V2 Archive Automatic

Automated Book Scanner with V-shaped glass plate.

The V-glass can be interchanged with an optional flat glass plate, or easily removed. The V-shaped glass platen is raised and lowered via motor for each scan. Sensors determine the correct amount of pressure to hold the pages down. The pressure can be adjusted for delicate pages.

The motorized V-Shaped Glass and self-adjusting book cradle ensures very gentle digitization of books, magazines, posters, folders, or bound documents of all kinds. The self-adjusting book cradle solution allows scanning either at a 120 degree angle or lying flat with a height compensation of 3.94 Inches (10 cm).

Self-adjusting book cradle with motorized V-shaped glass as well as optional flat glass plate. Using the latest camera technology from Image Access, this scanner meets FADGI, Metamorfoze and ISO 19264 specifications.

The BookTEK 5 V2 Archive Automatic is suitable for digitization projects that require high quality and maximum productivity even in 24/7 operation. Originals up to 18"x24" in size such as books, magazines, posters, folders or bound documents of all types, can be digitized at high speed and a resolution up to 600 dpi using the BookTEK 5 V2 Archive Automatic. The unique self-adjusting book cradle solution allows scanning either at a 120 degree angle or in horizontal mode and lying flat with a height compensation of 10 cm.

  • Dark mode operation-new to the BookTEK 5 V2 book scanners, enhances scan quality through less light reflection and improves operation by reducing eye strain.
  • Laser-assisted book fold correction- effectively reduces annoying shadows and distortions in the middle of a scanned image of a book when operators are scanning thick bound documents, resulting in a perfectly flat scanned image.
