This aqueous ink is designed to produce vivid color prints with more accurate color reproduction and improved black density color output than predecessor models.

The Orange and GRey ins included within the 7-color ink system significantly halpes to expand the colro gamut, allowing the GP-S Series to accurately reproduce bold colors and smooth gradiations, great for corporate branding.

Crystalline wax is added to the ink giving the printed surface improvved scratch resistance to abrasion-caused scratches, impriving handling during printing, post-processing, displaying and packaging.

The semi-translucent covers and interior LED lighting allow you to easily see ink tanks and loaded media. The user interface screen displays the ink levels, media indicator levels, and other setting prompts all on the home screen.

The Multifunction Roll System—standard with the GP-6600S and optional for the GP-4600S /GP-2600S printers—can be used in two different ways. First, you can load a second roll of a different media type and size at the same time, allowing automatic switching from matte to gloss paper without interrupting your workflow. Or second, you can configure the printer as a bi-directional Take-up unit.

The Sub-Ink Tank System works to remove all the ink in the tank before having to replace it, helping to eliminate any wasted ink. And, you can easily see ink tanks and loaded media through the new translucent covers. The empty tanks can also be replaced on the fly, without stopping the printer.

A built-in 500GB hard drive within the printer can increase productivity by relieving workload from the host computer, while providing a large capacity for print job data storage and retrieval.

JPEG and PDF files can be directly printed from the GP-Series. Simply load your files onto your USB drive, step right up to the printer and plug your USB drive into the port.

The new 4.3 inch operational panel utilizes smartphone technology for easy operation. The top three most-used commands: Load, Feed, and Cut now have their own buttons for ease of use.
