Imports
and/or Creates Multiple Database Files |
| The ScanVue database
software allows an unlimited number of indexing or database files to be
created and used. This allows a database file to be created for
different applications, such as one for drawings and another for family
photographs. |
HOW?
An indexing or database file can be created for any viewable type of
image such as documents, drawings, invoices, or family photos. Simply
select the View/Database Mode and open any previously created indexing
database file, or select to create a new file. Opening an existing file
will allow searching and viewing for any particular image, updating
information for existing images, or adding information for new images. show

Up
to 100 Individual Database/Indexing Fields are Possible |

Database allows up to 100 indexing or database fields, to be
individually named and created. show me |
HOW?
Any new indexing or database file can be created simply by selecting the
View/Database Mode and entering the name of a new data file to be
created. This will open a window to select the total quantity of fields
desired and a text box to enter a unique name for each field. |

Text
Searchable Indexing or Database File |
| The ScanVue
Database is a fully text searchable database allowing searching for any
particular text associated with any image. This allows the easy location
of any image and its associated information even if you know very little
information about an image. show me |
HOW?
Enter any characters in the "Search" text box, click the
"New" search button and ScanVue DB will begin a case sensitive
search through the entire database file for this information. All image
files containing these characters will be displayed. Double clicking on
any of the image file names will display the image, or you may choose to
enter new characters and search again, from within the images selected
in the previous search. Options are available to select any field for
searching or displaying. |

Print
Images or Database Entries |
| The database
software print options allow printing of all or any part of an image as
well as all or any selections from within the database. show

HOW?
The "Print" menu allows the selection of either
"Image" or "Database". "Image" will allow
all or any pre-selected area of an image to be printed.
"Database" will open a window with printing options available
for any or all portions of the database. All printing options selected
will pass to the system printer. |
