Removal, Auto Document Separation and Color Dropout — making it a powerful
image capture utility.
With RTIV file management capabilities, scanned images can be directly
saved in the popular PDF file format as well as TIFF, JPEG and Bitmap
formats.

Panasonic has achieved an extraordinary breakthrough in scanning
technology. Panasonic Image Enhancement Technology*- a proprietary
technology that can actually improve the quality of your scanned image, even
beyond the quality of your originals. This technology enables the scanner to
interpret and differentiate key information from your original. For instance, if
you are scanning pages with colored backgrounds, White Level Follow gives
the scanner the ability to convert colored backgrounds to white (not grey)
assuring complete contrast of the information on the page.
The Automatic Separation feature distinguishes between text
and photos and automatically converts photos to halftones while keeping the text
information in Binary Mode. And the advanced Noise Reduction feature
allows you to eliminate all imperfections and unwanted black dots on the page.
