The Fujitsu fi-5120C and fi-5220C scanners offer outstanding
price/performance value in a compact footprint making them well suited for
the front-office environment. Both scan in color, grayscale and monochrome
at duplex speeds up to 50 ipm and
feature 600 dpi optical resolution for incredible image quality. The Fujitsu
fi-5120C and fi-5220C scanners are the only workgroup class units that offer
ultrasonic double feed detection and long document scanning support (up to
34 inches). These scanners now feature hard card scanning capability
(ISO7810 standard) and embossed card scanning through the main automatic
document feeder. Yet, at just, 6.3 in. x 11.9 in. x 6.7 in. (fi-5120C
scanner) and (9.0 in. x 11.9 in. x 22.4 in.
(fi-5220C scanner), they easily install into even the most crowded
environments.
Fujitsu fi-5120C and fi-5220C workgroup scanners conveniently include
everything inbox to get organizations up and scanning. With the full
version of Kofax Software VRS, Adobe Acrobat Standard, QuickScan and
ScandAll 21 software, users get image enhancement functionality as well as the option of scanning directly
to PDF, file, print or batch. Ultra SCSI and USB 2.0 interfaces offer

Quality
The fi-5220C offers high quality output resolution up to 600 dpi. Control over error diffusion, color dropout and gamma
correction via the driver allows a wide variety of documents to be scanned.
More Scanning Features
The fi-5220C is equipped to handle hard card scanning like Drivers
Licenses, has auto-page size detect, long document scanning,
auto-deskew and double-feed detect.
Additional features
With a slide away output tray, the scanner can be positioned near the user workstation for ease of use. When not in use, the scanner reverts
to a standby mode using only 4.5 watts of power.
A "Scan" button on the scanner allows the
scanning process to be started from the scanner and it launches a user selectable application.
A "Send" button allows the document to be scanned and sent to
either your default printer or selected application on your PC. A user may
pre-select up to nine different applications.
Interface and Support
The fi-5220C has an industry-standard USB-2.0 interface and
also has a SCSI-2 interface port. Also comes with Adobe Acrobat 7.0
