WIDEcapture Scan Plug-ins

WIDEcapture plug-ins are easy to use applications designed to interface your Calcomp Wide Format Scanner with advanced and popular software applications.

WIDEcapture brings all of the scanners advanced functions to your favorite
application and lets you scan, set paper size, scan modes, color enhancement and
image enhancement settings without interrupting your workflow.

• WIDEcapture imports images from the scanner into the Photoshop image editor (not included). You can then use Photoshop’s wide range of image manipulation options, just as if you had opened an image file from your hard disk.
• The WIDEcapture plug-in for Adobe Photoshop enables wide format scanning on Apple Power Macintosh platforms.
• Available also for Windows 98, 98SE, ME, NT4.0, 2000, XP.
• Install the program into Adobe Photoshop’s plug-in folder and then just select the application through Photoshop’s File menu.

• When you install this plug-in software, a new menu item called "Scanned Raster Image" is entered in the Insert Menu on your AutoCAD interface.
• The new option activates a WIDEImage Scan Screen, including the split preview screen and special tool buttons.
  
• Brings the scanned image directly into your AutoCAD work space, saving you the time and trouble it costs to load the image from a file.
• The active Wide Format Scanning interface closes down at the end of scan-to-file and your scanned image is automatically loaded into the current drawing in AutoCAD.
• Runs with Windows 98, 98SE, ME, NT4.0, 2000, XP.
