Calcomp's Product Warranty
is for all scanner sales in the United States. The Calcomp standard warranty is provided
with the FIRST 24 MONTHS ON-SITE, at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE to the Customer.
ON-SITE Support is provided by GTCO CalComp Corp. or it's authorized
agent, who has an established HELP DESK. Help Desk support is offered to properly registered end-users
of Calcomp Products and is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00
PM – Local Time. Support is provided for all CURRENT scanner models and
all Calcomp software products. |

| Calcomp Extended Warranty
COVERAGE |
DESCRIPTION
Extends existing On-Site Warranty for additional twelve (12) month
increments, or
Converts the twenty-four (24) month Upgraded On-Site warranty to
additional 12 month increments
DETAILS
- Telephone support provided from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM local time,
during weekdays. No weekend support.
- Average on-site response time in major metro areas is 8 hours.
- Includes labor for hardware service and parts replacement, as
needed at time of service.
RESTRICTIONS
- Non-warranty repair parts (white background plates, glass plates,
and fluorescent lamps) are not included.
- Integration services are not included, but are available on time
and material basis, on request..
- Initial unit-inspection service call is required prior to coverage
being extended.
- Inspection fee will be waived if the scanner is in acceptable
operating condition and an extended-warranty service
plan is purchased at the time of the inspection service call.
RESPONSE TIMES
In ZONE ONE Cities, GTCO CalComp Corp. will provide an eight (8) hour response
time, and in areas outside the ZONE ONE Cities, GTCO CalComp Corp. will
use best efforts to respond within eight (8) hours, subject to customer,
technician, part availability and timing of the customer call.
The eight (8) hour response time is measured from the time that the
customer’s request for service is received at the GTCO CalComp Corp.
CARE Center until a technician arrives at the customer’s site.
Customer calls placed in the afternoon of a workday will normally
result in a visit the next business day. |

| Calcomp (GTCO CalComp Corp. Installation T & C) |
DESCRIPTION
Install and test products according to the manufacturers
specifications, including unpacking and connecting
the equipment to host system and installing the interface card and operating
systems.
DETAILS
- Unpack and assemble scanner stand. Customer must place scanner on
the scanner stand.
- Install interface card and interface drivers.
- Install WIDEImage Scanner Operating Software and/or JETimage
"copying" software.
- Demonstrate camera height adjustment.
- Demonstrate color calibration for color scanners.
- Perform basic scanning demonstration - threshold settings,
brightness, contrast, scan vs. pre-scan
- Demonstrate how to clean the glass platen and white background
plate.
RESTRICTIONS
- Detailed software training is not included in the installation
fee.
- Excluding WIDEImage installation, network integration and software integration is responsibility of
customer.
- Color fidelity consulting services are not included, but are
available upon request - call for rates.
- Price assumes the PC controller is available and configured.
- Resolution of conflict between network or other adapters within
the host system is not included
- Integration services are not included and will be performed at
Time and Material Rates.

| Special On Site Operator In Depth Training |
DESCRIPTION
GTCO CalComp Corp. Professional Services Personnel will provide in-depth operator
training on the use and operation of
the scanner and the scanning software.
DETAILS
As requested by Customer, but Integration and problem resolution with PC
or system is not included.
RESTRICTIONS
- Software support restricted to WIDEImage, JETImage Base or PRO and
WIDECapture.
- Price assumes the PC controller is available and configured.
- Resolution of conflict between network or other adapters within
the host system is not included
- Integration services are not included and will be performed at
Time and Material Rates.
