Using Plasmon 8000 optical drives and media, these libraries can store from 660GB to 4.2TB of data in a permanent archive with minimum data life of 100 years. Plasmon's patented dual-head drives offer 30GB of data under head, the highest capacity of any optical drive. This 4th-generation drive reads and writes both sides of the 30GB media simultaneously, yielding extraordinarily fast response times.
