application that is creating it. From a management and data protection
perspective, this is not always optimal. Plasmon’s V-Series autoloaders
allow you to automate the backup process and the necessary on-site and
off-site tape rotations locally on these servers rather than transmitting
the data to a centralized backup server. Simple, reliable, cost-effective
automation solves this challenging problem.

Plasmon offers LTO and AIT autoloaders to meet storage requirements from
under 100 GB to several Terabytes. Utilizing LTO technology, the V-10 and
V-21 autoloaders offer capacities from 100 GB to 4.2 TB* and single or dual LTO drive configurations. Plasmon’s AIT autoloaders offer capacities from 50
GB to 7.8 TB* and from one to four AIT tape drives (AIT-2 or AIT-3). Our
autoloaders offer a removable tape pack designed to facilitate on-site and
off-site media rotations. Rack mount kits and a barcode reader are optional. |
